As a child, Ver Burg's mother was constantly saying "if you don't start moving your lips, no one will ever understand you!"  At the age of 15, Ver Burg was inspired when he saw a ventriloquist perform at a New Year's Eve party.  Within two weeks, Ver Burg bought a block of wood, taught himself how to carve and began the creation of his own dummy.  The result of his work: Guido, Ver Burg's witty sidekick who usually steals the spotlight!

While a college student, Ver Burg became the only person in his school's 145+ year history to get paid to perform in its talent show!

During a stint as a broker at the Chicago Board of Trade, Ver Burg came to the conclusion that the rush of making people laugh is much more thrilling than watching oil prices hover.  Ver Burg now keeps people laughing full-time at events throughout North America.
